Tips for Playing in Davao
- Book your tee time ahead. Call the club first, especially on weekends and when a tournament is scheduled. Ask about guest and visitor rules while you are on the phone.
- Ask about caddies. Many Philippine clubs assign caddies to every group, so ask about caddie fees when you book.
- Start early. Morning tee times beat the midday heat. Bring water, sunscreen and a hat.
- Pack for rain. Afternoon showers can roll in quickly in the rainy months, so keep a light rain jacket and an extra glove in your bag.
- Know the format. Club events in Davao are often played as Stableford. If you are new to it, read Stableford scoring explained before your round.
