Owning a Vespa is wonderful. Riding it with friends who share the same passion is even better. If you ride a Vespa in Davao, or are thinking about getting one, here is what being part of Vespa Club Davao is like and how to get in touch.
Our Story
Vespa Club Davao began in August 2018, when Jasper Huang and four fellow Vespa enthusiasts in Davao City formalized what had always been an informal bond. By 2026 the club has grown to 80 members: collectors, restorers, daily commuters and weekend adventurers. It is an SEC-registered organization built on three values: community, heritage and adventure. For the bigger picture, read the history of Vespa.
What We Do
Rides
Group rides are the heart of the club, from city rides to longer trips across Mindanao. Our guide to scenic scooter rides around Davao gives a taste of where the roads lead.
Golf
Every year the club hosts the VCD Golf Tournament, bringing members, partners and guests together on the greens. The club also built the VCD Golf App, now used by other clubs to run their own tournaments.
Giving Back
Through VCD Cares, members have visited the SPMC Burn Unit, held a movie night for the SPMC Children's Cancer Institute, and joined a mission with the Maharlika Charity Foundation in Butuan City.
What to Expect on Your First Ride
